Its been said that Napoleon Bonaparte said, that “history is a set of lies agreed upon.” The phrase “history is a set of lies agreed upon” is attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte, suggesting that historical narratives are often shaped by the perspectives of the victors and can be considered a collection of accepted falsehoods rather than pure truth. 

History is defined as “A chronological record of events, as of the life or development of a people or institution, often including an explanation of or commentary on those events.
